Luanda Naval Club
The Clube Naval de Luanda has been in existence for over 137 years, is the oldest in Angola and the second oldest in Africa.
They are involved in the main African Nautical events where they are individual Tri-Champions and Tri-Champions by Teams (2016, 2017 and 2019) of Sailing in the Optimist Class. African Champion in the Women's Class in 420. Bi-African Champion in 2017+6/2020 and African Champion in the Class 470, where it was classified for the 2020/2021 Olympic Games
Participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, representing Angola in rowing and sailing.
The Club supports young people from the communities of Ilha de Luanda, making them athletes and supporting their school studies through scholarships and social actions.
CNL is a public utility institution, providing its members and visitors with nautical services, restaurant, socializing and well-being.
